SAMSUNG C&T JAPAN conducts a wide range of volunteer activities in Japan.
In recent years, we have been devoting our resources toward cleaning the environment
around Mt. Fuji, the symbol of Japan.

One late autumn day in October,
we journeyed to Fujihokuroku in Mt. Fuji.
It was the coldest day of last autumn,
but the employees sweated to collect garbage
that accumulated to 1,110kg.

We took part in cleaning up a forest area located in Koyodai,
Yamanashi Prefecture, near Mount Fuji. Every member of the
company participated in the activity, which was particularly
difficult yet more worthwhile than ever. Each person collected
more than 20kg of garbage scattered deep in the forest.

We took part in a cleanup activity at the foot of Mount Fuji,
where everyone collected and took out large amounts of
garbage from the forest.

We helped to plant field mustard that is resistant
to salt damage in Tohoku area that was severely
damaged by 2011 Tohoku earthquake
and following Tsunami.

of Mount Fuji which is registered as a World
Heritage site.
